Boarding Services
Welcome to 'The Hare BnB'... While Washington bunny owners are out exploring the world, we invite rabbits of all breeds and abilities to have their own vacation with our animal-friendly family!
During their stay, you will receive text updates for enjoyment and comfort, along with pictures and videos compilied in a shared digital album. All boarders will be taken care of to the exact detail specified by their owners.
Our standard bunny-boarding rate is $25 per night. However, returning customers get a discounted rate of $20 per night. Each additional rabbit, housed together or separately, is $10 per night. Note that oral/topical medication administration adds $5/day.
Each bunny (or bonded pair) will have its own 4' x 4′ traditional indoor playpen with solid flooring. This is located inside our garage that is attached to our home, and is temperature controlled year-round.

Optional Offerings:
-indoor free-roaming time
-outdoor supervised playtime (summer months)

You Must Provide:s:
-the adorable rabbit(s)
-litter box
-litter / pee pads
-fresh hay
-enough pelleted food
-daily veggies
Optional Accessories:
-favorite treats/toys
-tunnel/hidey hut
-food and water dishes
-blankets with your 'home scent'
-anything else to help them adjust seamlessly!
Please complete our boarding survey well in advance (a minimum of 24 hours before proposed drop-off time), as there are occasions when we are fully booked or simply unavailable / travelling ourselves.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours
M-F: 6:30 - 7:00 a.m., 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
We are convieninently located just ten minutes away from SeaTac International Airport. Hours have been revised to accommodate all other aspects of running Emerald City Rabbitry (cleaning, socializing, appointments, etc.). You are responsible for transport to and from our location in Normandy Park, WA. Exact address provided in boarding confirmation email. Thank you for understanding!
We highly encourage all boarders to be vaccinated for RHDV2 and spayed/neutered if of age.
Full payment is due at pickup, except for first-time customers, who are required to pay at the time of initial drop-off. We also welcome tips, which go toward purchasing bunny toys and improving their space, if you feel we’ve exceeded expectations in caring for your pet(s)!
Warranty: If any severe sickness, injury, or death happens while under our care, you will not be charged for their stay. If we feel your rabbit needs medical attention, we will contact you immediately. In the event that medical services are neccesary, you (as the owner) are liable for all veterinary expenses. It is your responsibility to inform us if your bunny has any pre-existing health conditions so we can properly monitor during their visit.
